Resources for parents of Superhero kids
Helping parents do the hardest job in the world more knowledgeably and to have more fun in the process.

BRIEF
One of the first parenting resources I developed at a child therapy clinic, in collaboration with a subject matter expert (a child psychologist who specializes in play therapy and supporting neurodivergent children and their parents), working within the brand guidelines, which I had established on launching the brand in 2021.
OBJECTIVE
Parenting is a difficult job, and parents of children who are neurodivergent need additional skills. Working with a subject matter expert, I copywrote a research-based content piece that reassures and educates the target audience (Calgary parents) about neurodivergent kids, whose brains work a little differently. These differences bring both challenges and opportunities..This infographic resource offers parents ideas and practical guidance on how to leverage these opportunities, and grow the special ADHD Superhero skills in their child.
DELIVERABLES
An interactive blog post and infographic, developed in an easy-to-understand, simple-language format. True to the brand, the copywriting and design are playful, empathetic, and empowering. Citations are included to acknowledge and specify the peer-reviewed research sources.
RESULTS
An interactive, scientific research-based blog post and infographic, developed in an easy to understand, simple-language format. True to the brand, the copywriting and design are playful, empathetic, reassuring, practical, and empowering for parents, as well as aligned with the clinician‘s and the practice’s theoretical orientation.
The material credits the clinic’s subject matter expert and cites scientific sources, boosting the credibility and prestige of the practice and benchmarking high-quality standards.
